Recently if you haven't noticed, Abayas are more contemporary, stylish and in fashion! Although the purpose of an Abaya remains the same, it is more fashionable then it ever was! It now comes in more then one style, color and design.
The art here is to be unique and look good with what you are wearing. Some Abaya designers I will be featuring next have gone beyond the norm and created a trend for fashionistas that enjoy being the center of attetnion.
DAS collection stands for Dafa, Abayah and Swayeya, synonyms of each other. The name itself gives you the sense that it is more then just an Abaya, it brings to my mind diffrent cultures and countires as well. DAS is the brainchild of sisters Reem and Hind Beljafla, Emirati nationals with diffrent backgrounds. I will leave you now with pictures worth thousands of words ;)!

I honestly didn't like them. They are truely creative, yet they don't achieve the porpuse or 3abaya. They looks more like black party dresses. I'd rather where a dress than wearing 3baya that looks like that.
